Private Dog Walking
All walks are private with only your dogs. Our services are 100% guaranteed. You can book online with our partnered app Time To Pet to select services and view our staff profiles, so you can know who will be taking care of your fur babies. All other large companies have up to 8 dogs on a walk. We provide love, affection, attention and only private one on one exercise. Unlike most other businesses your pooch is not in a car exposed to other dogs with potential risk of illness, injury and diseases. You can have the peace of mind knowing when we arrive and leave with live GPS tracking of where we walk, the route we took and detailed notes of the service with pictures!

Pet Sitting
We offer the following options for in-home pet sitting services. There are multiple lengths to better suit you and your pet’s needs. Several AM and PM walks are included with your pet sit, as well as feeding, daily notes from our app, love and attention. A mid-day walk can be added for 30, 45 or 60 minutes.

Done with our trusted staff in their pet-safe homes *Pickup and drop off is included within a 5 mile radius otherwise you must bring your pet to us or pay a pet transportation surcharge. Please ensure your dog is house-trained, current w/shots, current with flea medication & neutered/spayed. We do not take responsibility for flea transmission. Free walks are included! This service is done on a case-by-case basis for potty trained, non-aggressive dogs less than 35 pounds (see our pet sit options if your dog is larger than 35lbs.) It is great to know your dog will not go potty on the floor, pick up excessive barking habits, aggression and/or fear issues; if they sleep in bed with you, they sleep in bed with us! There is no possibility of illness, no bordetella shots, & your dog is always cage and kennel-free. *Add an additional dog at $15.00 each

Additional Services
Grooming / Transportation Services
Melissa’s Mutt Hutt does not provide Grooming, however, we have partnerships with several extraordinary full service grooming salons with Master Grooming. We can provide round trip transportation for your pets as well as set up appointments. A potty break is included.
Grooming - Bath with transportation - $115.00 - $200.00 (dependent on dog size)
Grooming - Haircut with transportation - $130.00-$250.00 (dependent on dog size)
Vet Visit* - $100 for a 2 hour vet visit means we pick up your pet and take them to the vet, talk to the vet about the issues, and wait for up to 1 hour to take your pet home, an additional $50 an hour will be charged for travel and wait times longer than 2 hours.

Food Pick Up (depending on distance) - $35.00-$65,00
Transportation (one way) - $38.50 Flat Rate for 30 minutes, add an additional pet at $15.00 each. If transportation takes longer than 30 minutes, each additional minute will incur a $1,00 charge to accommodate staff travel time and gas (goes 100% to staff!).
Please note: Transportation is included for a 3-5 mile radius.
Additional Surcharges
Puppy Fee (dogs less than 1.5 years) $36.50 extra for Boards and Pet sits.
Oral Medication & Supplement administration $10.00 a day (goes 100% to our staff)
$15 a day per extra pet for all services.
MMH has a $10 daily surcharge for per pet on the Holidays listed below, and 100% goes to our staff on: New Year’s Eve, New Years Day, Martin Luther King Jr Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day: Juneteenth, Labor Day, Indigenous Peoples’ Day/Columbus Day, Veterans’ Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. We don't do dog walks on July 4th for safety reasons, unless on a pet sit or board, in which case we can schedule a visit that entails a quick potty and lots of indoor play.
For Boards and Pet Sits only, MMH Charges an additional $10 per day during our heaviest Holidays week/weekends per pet on the dates below, with all extra rates going 100% to staff. Those dates include:

Memorial Day Weekend: May 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th

Columbus/Indigenous Peoples Day Weekend: October 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th
Veterans Day Weekend: November 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th
Thanksgiving Week: November 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th, December 1st
Christmas Week: December 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th

Boarding for dogs over 35lbs is limited and is an extra $35.00/24hr per dog.
Key Pick up & or Drop Off is $25.00 (in each direction)
MMH Consultations = $32.50 for 45 minutes. MMH requires an in person Consultation with MMH Management to set up each new account where we clarify all of your needs, meet your pet/pets for a temperament test, determine feeding, walking, litter box location, training implements, schedule etc, explain TTP app, get keys, codes (or help you purchase a lock box) and determine a daily routine. This info is inputted into TTP and a Mutt Hutter is assigned to your account. The meeting is under 60 minutes.
Optional "Meet and Greet" your Mutt Hutter = $30.00. This 45 minute meeting is for clients who want to meet who is working, walking, staying or boarding your pet/pets before the service. During that time, they will be introduced to your pet and the locations of leashes, harnesses, kitty litter box, poop bags, food as well as testing the coded entry, remote and or setting up and testing a lockbox with the clients key.
Dog Boards are priced at the time of pick up, in 24 hours increments. If a drop off is required at a later time in the day than the pick up, a half day rates is applied, and are priced at 50% of the 24 hour rate (applies for up to 12 hours of time).
MMH does all Pick up and Drop offs for Dog Boardings. The latest we pick up is 8:30pm, and the earliest we pick up is 8:30am for Dog Boarding.
MMH Pet Sits are from 8pm to 8am or 6pm to 9am, and you may add as many mid day walks as desired in 30, 45 and 60 minutes increments, however they are not included and priced as regular walks are above . However, we do not offfer walks before 8am, or after 8:00pm for extended Pet Sits that require an extra AM or PM walk/feed etc.
Hotel Care, please call for a quote. $50 per hour min, plus parking.
We are also offering Melissa’s Mutt Hutt dog walking service to all of Los Angeles 5 star hotels. Please call us at 310 546 0021 for a quote.

LOCK BOXES: All clients without a keyless keypad entry must use a Lock Box to store your home key for MMH services. The lock box code and location will be set by the client. Each lock box is sold at cost for $32.50, or you may provide us with your own box or keypad code for access. If there is no lock box for pet sits and boards a key pick up & drop off fee is applied for $20.00/each direction. Melissa’s Mutt Hutt is not responsible for any lost keys when a lock box or keypad is unavailable.
PAYMENT POLICY: Melissa’s Mutt Hutt accepts Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, Visa, Discover Card, American Express, MasterCard and personal checks (only for pre paid discounted dog walking booklets) All services booked using a credit card incur a 3.3% processing fee.
All MMH clients must have a current valid Credit or Debit card on file before any services begin. Card information is blocked once entered and saved into our software. If using Venmo please provide us with your handle/username in order for us to send you a request. We will invoice you electronically for all services. MMH has a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. Cancellations must be sent before 24 hours in order to receive a credit, which will be applied to future services.
Credit cards on file are charged every Thursday before the following week's services. Payment is due at time of receipt for Venmo.
Pre Paid Booklets: All Pre Paid discounted dog walking booklets are non refundable, incur a 3.3% charge if credit card is used for payment, and must be used within 1 year of purchase. These booklets cannot be redeemed for any services other than dog walks.
On Call Dog Walking: The client will be billed and charged at time of booking. Medications and Holidays incur an additional fee.
Additional cleaning fees for dog boards will be applied if your pet has accidents that cannot be simply cleaned (i.e. rug cleaning, furniture, bedding). Please advise us if you pet(s) are not 100% potty trained.
No services will be performed without payment. There will be a $25.00 late fee applied if payment is not received within 3 days before services begin as an administrative debt collection fee. Melissa’s Mutt Hutt reserves the right to cancel services if payment is not received 3 days before services begin.
